OUR MISSION:
Is to go throughout the world to proclaim the good word the teachings of Jesus Christ, through various ministries of charitable action.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
At ÉGLISE ET MINISTÈRES AGAPE INTERNATIONAL (EMAI), both current believers and those who will join in the future are united by one common faith, summarized in the following core beliefs:
1. The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God. It was written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and remains the only source with the power to bring salvation to anyone who receives and accepts it as the genuine Word of God.
2. The Nature of God
We believe in one God who reveals Himself in three Holy Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three work together in perfect unity and fellowship that cannot be separated. God is above all things, all-powerful, worthy of all honor, full of mercy, grace, and love. He is the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth, and all creation exists through His grace and protection.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
He was born in human form through Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. He lived as a true human being and at the same time as truly God.
As a man, He died and rose again. Through His death and resurrection, He brought salvation to all who accept and believe in Him as their Lord and Savior.
4. Salvation and Human Nature
We believe that every human being is born with a sinful nature.
However, every person can be cleansed and accepted by God by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, by hearing the Word of God, and by receiving the conviction and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
5. The Church
We believe that the Church is the gathering of people who have responded to the call of Christ through the Word of God.
Believers come together to testify about Christ, receive teaching, and prepare for the promised union between the Church and the Lamb of God, which will take place in the New Heavenly Jerusalem.
6. Church Leadership
We believe that the Lord, as the head of the Church, has established leadership within His Church to maintain order and prevent confusion.
Church leaders are to be respected and honored according to God’s instruction. Disrespect toward leaders through words, actions, or denying them their rightful honor is considered a serious offense.
Every leader who oversees others also carries the responsibility of ensuring that those serving under them are treated with dignity and respect. This is an important command within ministry service.
7. Family and Marriage
We believe that families are the foundation of the Church.
For this reason, families are strengthened through continuous teaching and encouragement.
Marriage recognized within ÉGLISE ET MINISTÈRES AGAPE INTERNATIONAL (EMAI) is the union between one man and one woman. This union is established through mutual love and agreement between both individuals, involving the consent and understanding of both families.
After fulfilling the necessary legal and family agreements, the Church completes the process by blessing the union and officially declaring the beginning of a new family under God’s blessing.
8. Eternal Life and Final Judgment
We believe that this world and everything we see today will come to an end.
At that time, all those who have purified themselves by living according to the teachings of the Word of God will receive eternal life in heaven together with God, whom they believed in and served faithfully.
Those who reject and ignore the Word of God will face judgment and be cast into eternal punishment together with Satan, whom they chose to follow instead of God.
9. Respect for Government and Order
We believe in respecting and honoring the government that allows us to freely carry out the work of God.
While remaining separate from political involvement, we commit ourselves to respecting lawful authorities.
In accordance with 1 Corinthians 14:40, which says:
“Let all things be done decently and in order.”
The leadership of ÉGLISE ET MINISTÈRES AGAPE INTERNATIONAL (EMAI) has established guiding principles and regulations to ensure good governance and to prevent disorder and confusion within the Church.
